The second creative workshop of the Future Foundations 2014 community program was based on dance and movement. One of our creative mentors Daniella led the workshop, which got all the participants and other mentors moving to the beats of Que Sera by Justice Crew.
To kick off the workshop the participants and mentors played an icebreaker game to warm up and get dancing. Everyone had to choose a move to represent their name and then remember everyone else’s move too – not as easy as it sounds!
Following some simple choreography to the chorus of Que Sera from Daniella, the real dancing got started. Once we had the moves to the chorus down, we split into groups to make up our own dance to an assigned part of the song before bringing it altogether. It was a very energetic and fun workshop with everyone getting involved. See the results in our video below.
