Since then, I have had delays of up to 30 minutes receiving e-mails, and the audio/banner notifications are sporadic. I have confirmed I am using the correct settings from my ISP, have all the correct boxes checked, and have even re-installed. Jul 29,  · I have had a number of users report that they will often not receive an alert, from the Windows 10 Notification Area, that they have received a new email and then some time later they will receive a whole lot of notifications, all at once, for the emails that they had previously received but not been notified about.
